Click to Enlarge InTray™ Pseudomonas Isolation Agar

The InTray™ R2A is a microbiology sample collection, transport, and culture device for isolation of Pseudomonas species and differentiation of Pseudomonas aeruginosa in environmental and clinical specimens using direct plating or membrane filtration procedures. Pseudomonas are ubiquitous bacteria found in the soil, on plants and in freshwater and marine habitats. P. aeruginosa is an opportunistic gram-negative bacterium and is one of the most common causes of Hospital Acquired Infections (HAI). The fully enclosed InTray™ system enhances safety by preventing contamination and reduces exposure to collected samples.
