PetriSealTM
BioMed Diagnostics has developed and patented a thermo-bonded, vacuum packed seal for standard Petri dishes called PetriSealTM. BioMed's PetriSealTM extends the media viability and shelf life for months.
PetriSealTM media is intended for in vitro use in medical, veterinary, food testing, environmental, and water testing (fresh and marine) applications.
PetriSealTM offers:
- Media that stays fresher longer.
- Extended shelf life.
- Many can be stored at room temperature.
- Can be incubated in CO2 and anaerobic biobags, jars and incubators.

InPouchTM and InTrayTM Packaging for Biological Growth Media
The InPouchTM and InTrayTM packaging formats are available for many biological growth media. The advantage of this packaging format over standard Petri dishes and test tubes is that it allows for an extended shelf life, many at room temperature of 18-25C. In addition, InPouchTM and InTrayTM packaging offers a single device for sample collection, transportation, incubation, and observation.
